Description

  • Constructing various masonry structures, including buildings, walls, and chimneys
  • Mixing mortar, operating an array of hand and power tools, and collaborating effectively with others to complete projects
  • Prioritizing safety, quality, and problem-solving, contributing essential skills to the construction industry's landscape

Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved with masonry, and the ability to work safely with all types of hand and power tools
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations
  • Knowledge of fireplace construction and materials used
  • Ability to travel out-of-town for various job projects and stay overnight when required
  • Hold or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver's license prior to employment
  • Physical requirements: walking, prolonged standing, climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting and moving heavy objects
