Description

  • Provide leadership to subcontractors, establish and/or maintain effective communication and relationships with all personnel involved in each project
  • Have a thorough and complete knowledge and understanding of the contract award, each subcontract agreement, the contract drawings, and specifications, and assist the Project Manager in the development of the on-site procedures
  • Plan and review the construction schedule with the Project Manager including quality control procedures, safety and security practices, field office location and layout, temporary utilities, staging areas, equipment, and manpower
  • Coordinate, direct, monitor, and inspect the activities of the subcontractors, work crews, and material suppliers to ensure compliance with the specifications
  • Verify that each subcontractor has completed his contractual requirements as a condition precedent to beginning work at the job site. This includes a Certificate of Insurance, a fully executed Subcontract, a Schedule of Values and a Safety Program
  • Ensure that all required permits or licenses have been applied for and/or obtained necessary for contractual obligations
  • Cooperate with, and direct when necessary, the activities of the inspection agencies, and to effect remedial actions indicated by the reports from these agencies
  • Conduct twice weekly safety meetings with the subcontractors and work crews
  • Generate Daily Production and Quality Control Reports annotating work done, labor and material employed throughout projects
  • At the end of the day, make sure the job is water tight for the night
  • Ensure that subcontractors enforce their safety program to include; conducting toolbox safety meetings, ensuring proper PPE is worn at all times and that the health and welfare of all employees is the first consideration reviewed by subcontractors. Implement the CYE Enterprises accepted Accident Prevention Plan
  • Ensure that necessary safety documentation is generated and accurately reflects the situation at hand
  • Assume responsibility for the health and safety of people who work on our projects. STOP WORK AUTHORITY AT ALL TIMES
  • Must be willing to travel to job sites in multiple states
  • Must have at least 5-7 years of roofing/construction experience
  • Candidate must be able to read construction blueprints and site drawings
  • Understand three-phase construction processes and methods
  • Safety Training: OSHA 30-Hour Card, CPR/First Aid
  • Five (5) years of continuous construction industry safety experience in supervising/managing general construction
  • Five (5) years of continuous general industry safety experience in supervising/managing general industry (managing safety programs or processes or conducting hazard analyses and developing controls)
  • Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C)
  • Windows 10
  • Microsoft Office Suite including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook
  • Adobe Acrobat
  • This job is a 3-4 week contract job, with potential hire full-time
