Description

  • Read scope of work and deliverables needed for RFQ
  • Read and interpret Electrical & Instrument discipline engineering drawings and specifications
  • Provide detailed Electrical & Instrument estimate support for assigned projects
  • Assist with detailed Electrical & Instrument estimates for Industrial Construction Projects
  • Estimate, solicit, negotiate and finalize prices for materials, supplies and sub-contractors
  • Assist with creating proposals for projects to include assumptions & clarifications

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of Industrial Electrical and Instrumentation Estimator experience
  • Team player able to work effectively with other estimators, engineers and project manager
  • Electrical Industry Standards knowledge
  • Excellent written/ verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable with fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and documentation/ procedural skills
  • Must pass a Background and Drug screening
  • Safety and detail focused
  • Electrical estimator experience in petrochemical or industrial plant
  • Proficient with Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Degree or certifications associated with job role a plus
  • High school or equivalent (Required)·
