Perform ongoing site visits to observe and document safety behaviors and work conditions, Coordinate with Operations teams to create site-specific safety plans, Participate in project kick off and progress meetings, Support client-specific safety requirements programs, Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, Coach and mentor project site personnel regarding safety practices and behaviors, Conduct proactive behavior-based and quality-focused field safety observations and PPE hazard assessments, Partner with Safety, Safety Training & Operations teams to schedule or facilitate required employee trainings, Conduct accident/injury investigations including root cause analyses, Provide support to Operations organization for incident case management and documentation steps, Follow-up with Operations organization to ensure completion of corrective actions for all accidents and incidents, Support company safety committees by assisting in assessment of safety performance trends, Regular and predictable attendance, Understand and comply with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standards, Essential functions of this position are to be performance at a Company-designated office or field location

Minimum 2 years of experience in environmental, health, and safety (EHS) field roles, High school diploma or GED equivalent, Minimum of one (1) safety certification is preferred, Undergraduate degree in Safety Management or related field preferred, Problem-solving and situation analysis skills, Proficiency with MS Office Suite programs, Effective verbal and written communication skills with ability to influence behavior, Strong knowledge and understanding of OSHA and other industry-related safety regulations, Must be a team player able to work with co-workers, different departments and outside contacts and maintain strong relationships, Attentiveness to details, Organizational skills, Ability to work independently, Basic understanding of electric construction project management practices and procedures, Ability to travel for job site visits for extended periods of time
