Description

  • Manage project schedule and ensure high-quality performance
  • Follow and review project scope closely
  • Control corporate and OSHA safety policies within the field
  • Coordinate shut downs/tie-ins
  • Observe and interface with contractors or trades to monitor work performance and productivity of trades
  • Ensure project rules and procedures are maintained
  • Monitor and support trade harmony, including jurisdiction compliance with local practice
  • Organize Mechanical/Electrical overhead coordination
  • Supervise, coordinate and sequence contractors work
  • Develop site logistics plans for entire project
  • Initiate setup of a project schedule and creation of activities and logic
  • Submissions of drawings to city and state agencies and inspection process leading to Certificate of Occupancy
  • File documentation using in-house filing system
  • Perform surveillance of contractor documents to ensure they are building from the latest document set
  • Review of submittals and shop drawings
  • Assist with management of budget by monitoring potential changes from contractors
  • Assist with management of general conditions budget and reviewing quotes for changes

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of commercial/retail construction experience
  • 2+ years of traveling experience
  • OSHA 30 hour is a plus
  • CPR or First Aid Training is a plus
