Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced 1st Class Inside Machinists for projects located in and around Newport News, VA . We are hiring for all shifts with a pay range of up to $37.50/hour based on experience plus $120/Day Per Diem to travelers 60+ miles from the job site.   • Operate Manual and/or NC Machines Such as: Lathes, Mills, Horizontal and Vertical Machining Centers, EDMs, Etc.

  • Drilling/Tapping Processes

  • Horizontal Boring Mills

  • Vertical Turning Centers

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 Years Experience as an Inside Shop Machinist

  • Able to Pass a Drug Screen & Background Check

  • Familiar with Numerical Controlled Processes Manual Data Input Tooling Offsets Conversation Controllers

  • Must be Open to Working all Shifts

  • Must hold US Citizenship to Meet Necessary Badging Requirements

  • Experience with Controllers Such as: Fanuc Siemens Acramatic Cincinnati-Milacron

  • Familiar with the use of Precision Measuring Instruments: Outside/Inside Micrometers Depth Mics Verniers

  • Familiar with Carbide Machining Processes

  • Ability to Comprehend Complex Mechanical Drawings and Blueprints
