Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Painter Laborers for projects located in the Appleton, WI area . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $30/hour based on experience plus $100/day per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job-site.If you are a Painter Laborer eager to grow and learn in the trades alongside our accomplished Craft Professionals, this is your chance to further your career!

  • Disassemble truck parts

  • Grind & sand surfaces of parts, cabs and bodies

  • Perform quality checks of work performed

  • Lift light or heavy truck parts on and off a cart

  • Use basic hand tools to prepare work for the painting process

  • Use of a cart to push/pull equipment and parts to and from designated areas

  • Follow written and verbal instructions in order to keep a safe working environment to complete a task

  • Paint and spray truck parts/equipment

  • Transport truck parts to and from designated area

  • Spray paint and primer onto parts

  • Bleed lines

  • Apply sealer and apply paint to part

  • Detect unpainted areas on a part and paint over it repair defects in the painted parts

  • Caulk, tape and hang parts to dry

  • Hand sand, file, grind & repaint parts and equipment when necessary

  • Complete paint finishing tasks spray primer and paint on top of truck parts

Job Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience
