Description

  • Completes detailed calculations to verify system design meets code and standard requirements
  • Participates in pre/post project design meeting and attends customer/site coordination meetings, as applicable
  • Develops bill of materials to facilitate construction
  • Provides support to Project Managers when orders have been received to assist in maintaining and/or improving project margins
  • Development, maintenance, and monitoring of construction CPM Schedule(s)
  • Review project documents and specifications to accurately develop baseline schedules which include all required dates, activities, and milestones
  • Perform progress schedule updates to include comprehensive reporting and narratives

Job Requirements

  • Proficient in reading and understanding architectural, Civil, Structural, Piping, and electrical diagrams
  • Advanced understanding of mechanical systems and their interface to fire alarm systems
  • Fundamental understanding and experience with: P6, CAD, Projects, Bluebeam, Excel, Navis Works, Microsoft Office Suite including, Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, and Adobe
  • Effective written and oral communications
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule
  • Demonstrated ability in drafting/CAD, computer skills estimating/pricing, and project management
  • Experience developing construction project schedules
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening
