About the role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Medical Assistant Instructor to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical assisting and a dedication to teaching and mentoring students. As a Medical Assistant Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, developing curriculum, and ensuring that students acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the medical field. This position will remain open until filled. Applications received by 9/1 will receive priority consideration, and applications received after that date will be reviewed on a weekly basis until the position is filled.

- Minimum of 4,000 hours of w ork experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting within the last five years.
- Applicant must be able to verify U.S. employment eligibility.
- Associate degree or higher in related field
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credentials.
- Evidence of teaching ability and or previous teaching experience in field
- Ability to utilize PowerPoint, Learning Management System technology to maintain grades and content.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the public.
- Ability to apply accounting models and mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
