Auto-Owners Insurance, a top-rated insurance carrier, is seeking an experienced and motivated Casualty Claims professional to join our team. This position involves handling a variety of liability claims, including premises liability, non-auto bodily injury, property damage, personal injury, and advertising injury, under Commercial General Liability (CGL), Businessowners (BOP), and Umbrella, Home, and Farm policies. Claims may involve complex liability investigations, coverage disputes, contractual indemnity issues, and litigation. This job requires mastery of claims-handling skills and requires the person to:
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- At least 3 years of casualty claims experience.
- Basic understanding of casualty policy language.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Ability to gather and interpret information for effective claims resolution.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and tasks efficiently.
- Interpersonal skills to deal with diverse customers and situations.

- Experience handling premises liability, non-auto bodily injury, and property damage claims preferred.
