About the role
Under the supervision of the Cold Storage Lead and direction of the Manager, this position supplies the correct product to and from railcars and trucks, directs and records the proper loading of same, supplies and removes bulk product for all packaging lines and bin dumps, checks accepts, warehouses and re-warehouses if necessary, all product packaged or processed during the shift. Receives all inbound shipments of dry supply material, chemicals, etc., records the proper amounts and distributes to proper storage or usage areas to provide accurate inventories and ready availability of production supplies. This position furnishes and delivers to package lines, supplies required per written and verbal packaging instructions to assure continuation of plant operation. In compliance with applicable state and local laws, Lamb Weston has opted to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's work location, job duties, experience and expertise. A reasonable hourly estimate for this role is listed below.
What you'll bring
- At least 1 year of experience required in a forklift operator position
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Must be able to work all shifts: 7am – 7 pm, 7 pm – 7 am
- Must be able to comply with our Good Manufacturing Practice policies and be able to wear personal protective equipment as required.
- Must be available for both scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
