About the role
The Day Habilitation Supervisor trains and assists consumers in the performance of daily living activities within the facility and in the community, exercising some judgement to achieve goals and objectives of Individual Program Plans.
What you'll bring
- Knowledge of proper methods to train developmentally disabled individuals;
- Must obtain CPR and basic first aid certification.
- Ability to effectively utilize basic technology platforms
- Knowledge of Individual Program Plans (IPPs);
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, develop and implement plans
- Ability to maintain records of consumer activities and perform arithmetic calculations;
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions;
- Ability to work independently and organize projects;
- Ability to follow all personnel policies and rules of the organization and maintain confidentiality;
- Ability to communicate with other agency personnel, consumers, families and guardians.
- Ability to satisfactorily complete all necessary in-service training, and ability to obtain CPR and basic first aid certification
- Possession of a valid driver's license and demonstrated safe driving record
