About the role

In this role, you will lead the local Supply Chain Management organization and be responsible for its performance, development, and strategic direction. As a key member of the local Operations leadership team, you will drive end-to-end supply chain competitiveness, resilience, and business performance through effective order execution planning and monitoring, supplier and supply network management, supply and capacity planning, and inventory optimization.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related disciplines
• 10+ Years of experience and track record in sourcing, procurement and production planning in global complex companies and
• 5+ years of demonstrated people leadership experience, including developing and leading teams.
• Proven knowledge and usage of SAP
• Strong knowledge of key categories relevant to the business, particularly EMS, PCBA components, mechanical and casting
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time, as required
• Strong understanding of strategic sourcing, supplier management, and supply chain operations, with proven experience applying production and material planning strategies to optimize performance and ensure effective execution
• Experience leading S&OP, demand management, and supply planning processes while driving supply chain process improvements, operational excellence, and large-scale transformation initiatives.
• Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
• Experience in manufacturing environments is considered an advantage
• Extensive experience in inventory optimization and control within manufacturing environments, with a proven ability to drive cross-functional collaboration, leverage strong analytical and business acumen, and translate strategic objectives into measurable business results
