About the role

Restek Corporation is seeking an Operations Technician I that will work in the Analytical Reference Material (ARM) department. This position will be key part of a growing team in a fast-paced environment. The schedule for this position will be either second or third shift with a second shift schedule of Monday through Friday, 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm or third shift schedule of Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 pm - 6:30 am, with the potential for overtime. The training period for this position will be Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm for approximately 6-8 weeks.

What you'll bring

• The successful candidate must be detail-oriented and have basic computer skills.
• Minimum of high school diploma or GED.
• Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: • Basic math and scientific problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
• Understanding of business concepts and technical details.
• Knowledge of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements.
• Ability to follow and give basic oral and written instructions.
• Good communication skills and the ability to train others.
• Respirator fit test, annual medical surveillance program enrollment, DEA and ATF clearances for handling regulated material.
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software is preferred.
• Preferably 2 years of specialized training in a science-related technology or relevant experience.
