About the role

Here at the OTI our innovative sampling tools and diagnostics unlock access to accurate, essential information that advances global health and well-being. Our products include molecular sampling kits for the genome and microbiome, and rapid diagnostics for infectious disease. Support accurate and timely financial reporting by preparing journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, maintaining fixed asset and close workpapers, and supporting accounting operations across multiple legal entities. This role partners with Finance and business stakeholders to resolve accounting issues, maintain effective internal controls, and provide complete, audit-ready documentation.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, general ledger accounting, month-end close, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting support.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to create, maintain, and analyze complex spreadsheets
• proficiency in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Experience with enterprise accounting and expense systems
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is beneficial.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet close deadlines, and maintain accurate supporting documentation.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues across functions and geographies.
• A reliable, high-speed internet connection is required for effective communication and remote work, when applicable.
