About the role
The Psychologist provides counseling and psychological assessment and testing within an outpatient program. Performs assessment, testing for individual, family and group counseling. Coordinates and implements the treatment plan. Provides crisis intervention as necessary. Services are provided to adults, adolescents, children, families, and couples using knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients. In concert with psychiatrists, maintains a team approach in treating patients. Adheres to professional and ethical guidelines as outlined by mental health care organizations and associations.Required Skills & Competencies

- Ability to build rapport and maintain therapeutic relationships.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Flexibility and ability to provide services across continuum of care.
- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure as a Psychologist.
- Experience conducting psychological testing and assessments.
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions and treatment methods.
- Able to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing).
