COUNTRY Financial is seeking a Tax Accountant to join its Tax Compliance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to expand your tax expertise while partnering with teams across the organization to support essential business operations and initiatives. As a Tax Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with a variety of tax reporting and filing requirements. You will grow and leverage your knowledge of tax laws and regulations to prepare and review tax returns, manage tax payments, and support the accounting of tax transactions with accuracy and timeliness. Beyond compliance, you'll have the opportunity to identify process improvements, implement efficiencies, and contribute to projects that enhance the effectiveness of the tax function. This position provides exposure to various business operations, direct interaction with taxing authorities, and opportunities to provide tax insight on business transactions and strategic initiatives.
