About the role
EPI Power is seeking an experienced Quality Control (QC) Inspector to support electrical construction activities on a major data center project in Boydton, VA. The QC Inspector ensures installations meet project specifications, codes, and quality standards while working closely with field and commissioning teams to drive quality, safety, and efficiency. This position requires availability to work six days per week (typically Monday–Saturday) during peak construction phases.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 3 years of construction or field quality inspection experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Excellent technical documentation, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and during peak project hours as needed.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Willingness to relocate for future projects preferred.
- Experience on data center or mission‑critical projects.
- Understanding of data center power distribution and critical electrical infrastructure.
- Familiarity with commissioning workflows, inspection processes, and turnover documentation.
