About the role
Position: Cost Accountant Company: UTC Aerospace The Cost Accountant will support the Controller in executing cost accounting functions and assist in the development of information needed to support operating plans.
What you'll bring
- Minimum of Four Year Degree in Accounting or Finance with concentration in cost accounting
- Minimum 5+ years finance/accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with US GAAP
- Experience in general ledger, cost accounting, financial analysis, SOX compliance
- Strong understanding of an ERP business system
- Aerospace/Defense industry experience preferred
- SAP preferred
