ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: •    Evaluate, troubleshoot, and repair commercial trade specific systems, equipment, and components •    Perform preventative maintenance of commercial trade specific systems, equipment, and components •    Accurately document all job-specific troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on Service work orders and submit them to the Service Manager in a timely manner •    Participate as the On-Call Technician when scheduled   •    Participate as a back-up to active Emergency On-Call Service Technicians for trade specific system installations and repairs   •    Complete daily THA documentation and provide directly to VP of Safety •    Keep the company assigned vehicle in an organized and clean manner. Education: Required: A High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED), Vocational School Training is helpful but not required Experience: Preferred: Four to ten years of related experience Acceptable: Two years to four years of related experience SKILLS & ABILITIES: Computer Skills: Preferred, but not required: iPhone and iPad, Field Management Software (Raken) Certificates & Licenses Required (any of the following): EPA Certification, Massachusetts Refrigerant License or Oil Burner License, as required for trade specific function of position. Other Requirements:  Valid Drivers License - Class D OTHER REQUIREMENTS (TRADE SPECIFIC): Boiler/Burner - Must have strong working knowledge of commercial steam and hot water boiler systems, commercial/industrial boiler systems, commercial oil and gas burners, associated controls, electrical circuits, combustion, and piping. Experience with linkage-less controls and appropriate boiler related standards are preferred. HVAC - Must have a strong working knowledge of commercial chilled water systems including Chiller (centrifugal and reciprocating) and Tower equipment, pumps, piping, associated controls, and electrical circuits. All Trades - Must have knowledge and familiarity with local/regional Vendors and Manufacturers Representatives
