About the role

This role will be full-time and on-site in our Fullerton, CA office. The role will involve frequent interaction with senior management, so professionalism and communication skills are critical. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated and quick to learn new processes. We will train you on our close process, and you will have the opportunity to grow into accruals and more complex accounts over time.

What you'll bring

• 1 to 3 years of accounting experience, including internships
• Excellent Excel skills
• High level of accuracy, with a habit of checking your own work before it goes to a reviewer
• Clear written and verbal communication, including explaining reconciling items and variances to reviewers and to people outside Finance
• Strong work ethic, with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and pride in ownership of work produced
• Strong ethical foundation that guides decision-making, treatment of others, and personal responsibility
• Experience with NetSuite.
• Will also consider candidates with demonstrated ability in other comparable accounting software
• Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) to speed up reconciliations, research or reporting.
• Interest in building and maintaining reusable AI workflows with the team, and checking their output, is expected
• CPA license or CPA candidate
