The Senior Maintenance Technician is responsible for [ the general maintenance and orderliness of the property and oversight of the maintenance systems to ensure optimal operations and client/tenant satisfaction in accordance with department protocol. The SMT will collaborate effectively with co-workers, contributing to a dynamic and engaging work environment. This role plays a key part in maintaining the reliability and performance of our buildings, creating safe, functional environments for tenants, clients, and patients. What you'll bring
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Minimum of 3 years of related maintenance experience
- Must be located in Gastonia, NC area with availability for after-hours emergencies and participation in on-call rotation
- Must be in office, on-site, 5 days a week and drive to the various properties with employee owned vehicle, as needed
- Basic computer skills and comfort using maintenance or work order software
- Certifications (e.g., HVAC, CFC Handling, Electrical, Plumbing) preferred
- technical or vocational training in maintenance-related fields preferred
- preferably in healthcare, commercial real estate, or hospital environments
