About the role
The Senior Sales Specialist – Immunohistochemistry for Leica Biosystems is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive rapid revenue growth and market share expansion across the territory. They will also collaborate with Sales, Service, and Applications counterparts to achieve Leica Biosystems' performance targets and exceed customer expectations. This position is part of the Sales team and will be fully remote in NJ. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives. You will be part of the Commercial Organization and report to the Sales Manager, who is responsible for a team of sales representatives, to help exceed Leica Biosystems' sales goals and deliver on commercial strategies. What you'll bring
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science OR equivalent work experience
- Minimum 3+ years relevant sales experience (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven time management skills
- Proven contract negotiation and high-level selling experience or selling in a matrixed environment.
- Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software
- Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to travel 50-75%
- overnight for territory coverage (if applicable) and/or for company meetings
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Prior capital sales experience
