About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing team in a fast-paced, dynamic medical setting. As a Patient Care Coordinator at Porch Light Health, you will be expected to perform a combination of clinical and administrative tasks to support both our medical team and our patients.
What you'll bring
- Comfortable using Google Docs, Sheets, and other Google applications.
- Capable of learning and adapting to various patient management systems.
- Able to communicate effectively with patients, insurance companies, providers, and coworkers in a professional manner.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a busy clinic setting.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and willing to travel to multiple rural locations as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License
- Previous experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is preferred (at least 1 year).
- At least 1 year of experience with EMR systems is preferred.
- Previous experience in a medical or clinical setting, particularly addiction medicine, is a plus.
