Description

  • Provides quality estimates and analysis to upper-level estimators in a timely manner, in which the information is reconcilable to source data
  • Understands and utilizes estimating theory. Understands advanced estimating techniques
  • Assists in updating and maintenance of Standard Unit Labor Charts
  • Participates in analysis of specialty account estimates for material and labor
  • Prepares simple estimates in all areas of specialty estimating
  • Participates in the preparation of in moderately complex estimates
  • Assists in the development of complex estimates
  • Prepares Specialty Account Material Take-Offs (MTOs)
  • Applies material costs and Labor Effort-hour Units to estimated quantities
  • Develops conceptual estimates with minimal engineering input. Understands how to document conceptual or feasibility estimates with assumptions.
  • Prepares conceptual unit rate specialty estimates at a summary level
  • Applies basic knowledge of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) , Cost Elements, and General Ledger to work activities.
