Description

  • Conduct comprehensive cost estimations for fabrication projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to gather necessary information for accurate cost assessments
  • Analyze project specifications and technical drawings to determine project requirements
  • Utilize industry knowledge and stay updated on market trends to provide competitive and precise cost estimates
  • Evaluate potential risks and uncertainties that may impact project costs
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, outlining tasks, milestones, and resource requirements
  • Coordinate with production teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or bottlenecks, adjusting schedules as needed
  • Assess resource availability, including materials, equipment, and labor, to optimize production workflows
  • Implement strategies to enhance overall project efficiency and meet or exceed project timelines

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field
  • Proven experience in cost estimation and project scheduling, preferably in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in relevant software for cost estimation, project management, and scheduling
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of medical imaging or healthcare industry standards is a plus
