Provide cost estimates for temporary housing unit site preparation, construction, and engineering services; Validate all construction-related cost proposals related to direct housing missions. Conduct detailed cost estimates in all disciplines utilizing Xactimate, RS Means or FEMA's Cost Estimating Format. Perform cost estimating reviews to ensure completeness, accuracy and estimate aligns with scope of work. Make hazard mitigation determinations and recommendations to reduce or eliminate the chance of damages occurring in the future. Provide technical guidance and recommendations to management.

Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, design, finance, or a related field. Proven experience with Xactimate, RS Means, or CEF. Experience with residential housing site preparation and development. Project management and organizational skills. Ability to work as part of a team to accomplish objectives under a tight deadline. Proficiency in computers, MS Word, and Excel as well as smartphone/text usage. Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills. Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to variances in each assignment. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Federal Government Public Trust Clearance. Previous FEMA Public Assistance experience is a plus. Capability to work both short- and long-term assignments anywhere in the U.S. and its territories.
