Description

  • Maintaining all equipment, systems, and building components
  • Building, repairing, and painting all parts of the hotel
  • Installing and replacing lighting fixtures and bulbs
  • Cleaning carpets and rugs
  • Inspecting and testing machinery and equipment
  • Dismantling defective machines and equipment and installing new or repaired parts
  • Repairing and maintaining the physical structure of the establishment
  • Fabricating and repairing furniture and fixtures
  • Attending scheduled training classes and meetings
  • Painting corridors, hotel rooms, and lobby areas when necessary
  • Transporting heavy boxes and packages within the hotel for maintenance and repairs
  • Assisting in delivering and setting up all new equipment
  • Communicating with Maintenance Supervisor on assigned projects
  • Responding to all customer requests in a timely and personable manner

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience as a hotel engineer or comparable maintenance experience
  • Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
