Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Traveling Millwrights of all skill levels for projects located in and around Sherman, TX. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of up to $28/hour based on experience & skill level plus $125/per diem for travelers of 60+ miles from the job site. If you are a Journeyman or Apprentice Millwright and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
Level bases
Build & attach grout forms
Mix & pour grout
Wreck out forms, touch-up grout
Pull bearing caps & check pillow block bearing clearances & alignment to fan shaft
Check and/or adjust fan wheel to inlet scroll clearance
Check & record run-out readings on shafts & couplings
Perform shaft alignment including soft foot correction, lubricate bearings
Install inertia base springs & float inertia base
Layout & level baseplate, install baseplate anchors
Other tasks as assigned
