Description

  • Prepare wood and metal surfaces for painting using brush and rollers
  • Read work order and receive instructions verbally
  • Prepare surface using appropriate methods to remove dirt, oil, grease, old paint, cracks, and holes
  • Fill cavities and dents with putty to attain smooth surface
  • Select and mix coating liquid to produce desired color
  • Erect scaffolding or set up ladder to perform task above ground level
  • Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body, able to reach overhead, work in various positions, use hands to handle objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, work at heights, balance for extended periods of time
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years of Journeyman level experience
  • Must pass drug screen and background check
