Description

  • Maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots electronic equipment
  • Read and interpret electronic and electrical drawings
  • Maintains, services, and repairs other electrical and various mechanical equipment
  • Works with repair crews by spotting, isolating, and disconnecting equipment to facilitate repair work
  • All other duties assigned by the Chief Electrician

Job Requirements

  • Requires at least four years of verifiable experience as an electrician in mining or heavy industry
  • Must be familiar with the care and use of meters, meggering motors and cable, and troubleshooting AC and DC starters, variable speed drives, and power distribution equipment
  • Must be knowledgeable in CEM, pressure/flow transmitters, RTDs/Thermocouples
