Description

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery, equipment, and systems
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventive maintenance measures
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from various departments
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and tasks promptly
  • Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders and document maintenance activities
  • Fabricate or modify parts as needed using various tools and equipment
  • Weld or solder components as required
  • Conduct electrical repairs and installations
  • Perform HVAC/R maintenance and repairs
  • Provide field service support as needed
  • Assist with general building maintenance tasks

Job Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in general machine repair, electrical systems, plumbing, and facilities maintenance.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members and other departments.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills to guide and support lower-level maintenance technicians.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic manufacturing environment with shifting priorities.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks that require lifting up to 35 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Experience with electrical repairs and installations
  • Knowledge of HVAC/R systems is highly desirable
  • Welding experience is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or trade school education is preferred.
  • Certification as an electrician.
