About the role

The Harbour School is a community-oriented organization that values its employees and supports continued growth and education of all its staff. Our primary and middle school faculty is composed of grade-level teams which include a qualified or certified educator, a learning specialist with a special education degree or certificate, and an educational professional who provides support to the class teachers in all areas of classroom management, small-group instruction and administrative support. These education professionals, known within the community as “co-teachers”, gain instructional experience while they assist in all duties in the classroom and at the school throughout the school year.   They are a valued member of the faculty and class community as they enhance the positive development and experience of students in the school.

What you'll bring

• This individual must have a strong vocation and interest in education, pedagogy or Child/Adolescent Development.
• Having prior experience working with primary age students in an education setting, or currently being enrolled in a tertiary degree or certificate in Education is a requirement for this role.
