About the role
Directly Reports to: Assistant Project Rise Coordinator Indirectly Reports to: Programs Director Status: Part-time, Non-Exempt The teacher is responsible for selecting, preparing and implementing standards-aligned math, reading, and STEM lessons/activities for a class of approximately 15 students. Teachers also accompany and supervise students on field trips, plan incentive awards/parties, track attendance, and maintain communication with parents. Teachers will lead arts/crafts activities, supervise play, and participate in experiential and service learning opportunities along with students. Teachers will participate in training sessions offered by Operation Shoestring.
