About the role

As an NC Pre-K Lead Teacher , you will lead a state-funded NC Pre-K classroom by implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with North Carolina Early Learning Standards. You'll create an engaging classroom where children build confidence, independence, social-emotional skills, and kindergarten readiness while ensuring compliance with NC Pre-K standards and licensing requirements.

What you'll bring

• Must meet North Carolina NC Pre-K Lead Teacher qualifications
• North Carolina Birth-Kindergarten (BK) License OR
• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Birth-Kindergarten Education, or another NC Pre-K approved field
• Must meet NC Division of Child Development and Early Education requirements
• Knowledge of NC Foundations for Early Learning and Development
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
• Must successfully pass all required background screenings
• Previous preschool or Pre-K teaching experience preferred
