About the role
The Head Start Teacher is responsible for leading a Head Start classroom of 3–4-year-old children. The position works collaboratively with an assistant teacher, family members and other staff to achieve positive outcomes for children of all abilities.
What you'll bring
- Must have an Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- Candidates with an Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in a non-related field and at least 6 relevant courses can be considered.
- Travel required locally or long-distance up to 10% of the time for work-related meetings and functions.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation.
