About the role

The support teacher will work together with lead teachers to create a warm and welcoming school culture that is driven by student achievement. This role is ideal for recent graduates and career changers who are looking to launch a teaching career. Support teachers receive robust professional development, instructional coaching, and mentoring. Support teachers also get both small group and whole class teaching experience.

• Associate’s degree or equivalent required
• Previous student teaching, classroom teaching, or experience working or volunteering
• Must be able to sit for up to two (2) hours looking at a computer monitor, using a keyboard and mouse and typing.
• Mastery may consider an equivalent combination of knowledge, skills, education, and experience to meet minimum qualifications.
• Bachelor’s strongly preferred in education or related field
