About the role
Chemours is seeking a Regional Capital Engineering Manager to join our growing Capital Organization. This position will be available at our Corpus Christi site and reporting directly to the Capital Execution & Center of Excellence (COE) Leader. The Regional Capital Engineering Manager leads and develops a high-performing, multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for the successful execution of capital projects across Chemours' Corpus Christi, TX, La Porte, TX, and El Dorado, AR manufacturing sites. Based in Corpus Christi, this role is accountable for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while supporting site and business objectives.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience managing industrial or manufacturing capital projects
- Experience with people management
- Demonstrated success leading high-performing teams in a dynamic environment
- Exceptional communication, organization, and prioritization skills
- Solid understanding of plant operations, capital project execution, and maintenance excellence.
- Proven track record of building strong teams, delivering results, driving continuous improvement, and applying engineering best practices
- Ability to travel
- Candidates must be able to perform all duties listed with or without accommodation
- Experience working with design contractors and external engineering providers.
- Exposure to highly toxic materials and chemical manufacturing operations.
- Strong background in procurement and contract management (T&M and Lump Sum).
