About the role
The client is seeking Network Security Engineers to focus on the support and implementation of firewall and VPN systems for corporate data network. The focus will extend to support, implementation, monitoring and documentation of networking systems too. This position includes learning, understanding and implementation of network design to architect support of these firewall/VPN systems.
What you'll bring
- Palo Alto, Checkpoint, ASA, and PIX Firewall/VPN Configurations.
- Knowledge and experience with routing protocols BGP, OSPF, EIGRP and IGRP.
- Advanced OSI model knowledge including advanced layer 3 & 4 packet analysis for end to end
- network troubleshooting.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem analysis background.
- Excellent critical thinking skills.
- Ability to identify security incidents, provide supporting information, and support the corporate
- data network through containment and remediation.
- Experience managing timelines and projects.
- Enjoys working with others in a team atmosphere and is able to mentor and train Level 1,
