About the role

Kinsley is seeking a qualified Concrete Foreman to support our growing Industrial team, based out of our Hagerstown, MD office, with travel throughout the Mid‑Atlantic region. The Concrete Foreman is responsible for directing and coordinating activity associated with the construction of the project and must have the ability to lead by example, motivate crew members, and efficiently manage the job. An ideal candidate should possess a solid background in the field with all aspects of concrete construction, strong leadership skills, and the ability to delegate direct work to others and make quick and accurate decisions. This position is considered a “Working Foreman” position which involves working alongside crews to assist in completing the projects as required. Please note that this position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with Kinsley Construction policies and procedures.

What you'll bring

• 5+ years experience directing a concrete crew is required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and moving whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materials.
• Use hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning and manipulating things.
• Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods in unfavorable weather conditions.
• Must have transportation to get to assigned job sites.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening.
• Must be willing to travel out of town for some jobs and some may require overnight stay.
• Must have extensive experience with horizontal concrete, vertical concrete, and machine foundations.
