About the role
The Director of Dialysis and Nephrology provides strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for the health system's dialysis and nephrology service line. This role is accountable for the growth, performance, and 24/7 operations of the system-wide dialysis program, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care that aligns with the Health System's Mission, Vision, Values, and Philosophy. The Director oversees clinical practice, regulatory compliance, quality outcomes, and interdisciplinary collaboration while leading the recruitment, development, coaching, and performance management of department staff to achieve exceptional patient and organizational outcomes.
What you'll bring

- Minimum of 2 years dialysis experience
- Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible nursing leadership experience
- Active nursing license in each state Mercyhealth serves
- Master of Science in Nursing
- Certification in a specialty is highly desired
- Master of Science in Nursing or Master of Business Administration
- if candidate possesses a BSN, Master’s degree in a related field is acceptable.
