About the role
Sr. Staff application engineer for position in HiRel product group. Primary responsibilities will include supporting existing analog products as well as new product developments for the space market. Products supported include: Precision Op-amps, Instrumentation Amplifiers, Voltage References, Precision ADCs, Battery Management Systems (BMS), Analog Switches/Multiplexers, Current Sources and Drivers, Isolators, and Serial Interface (i.e. RS-422, CANBUS, I2C). Programming experience with Python, Java, and/or C languages as well as knowledge of Verilog coding with FPGAs a plus. Knowledge of using and troubleshooting PSpice models. You will be part of an engineering team responsible for device characterization, datasheet and application note documentation, and customer support.

- Candidate must possess a minimum bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- Candidate should be self-motivated and conscientious.
- Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Candidate must have good presentation skills.
- Candidate should have a good knowledge of analog design and lab troubleshooting skills.
- Candidate must understand and follow industry standards of test for ICs.
- 7 to 10+ Years in Applications and/or Systems Engineering role in Analog IC Development or Circuit Design Industry.
- Proficient with analog and mixed signal designs.
- Proficient with electronic bench lab equipment (power supplies, function generators, multi-meters, oscilloscopes).
- Experience in Schematic/Layout design tools and switching power supply layout concepts.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point).
- Programming experience with Python, Java, and/or C languages as well as knowledge of Verilog coding with FPGAs a plus.
