About the role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Project Manager to join our Sioux Falls, SD office. As a Project Manager with FHU, you will support the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects. This role requires strong coordination, communication, and organizational skills to help ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with quality standards.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
• 5–10 years of experience in project management within engineering, including roadway, highway, interchange, or related transportation design projects
• Experience with MicroStation InRoads/OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D, with emphasis on surface modeling
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while maintaining schedules and budgets
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including use of Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to present information clearly to team members and clients
• Experience supporting development of roadway plans, specifications, and cost estimates
• EI required
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
