Job Description 🔧 What You Will Do Under minimal supervision, you’ll perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning, and general servicing of building automation and control systems. You’ll also serve as a trusted advisor to our customers, helping them achieve greater efficiency while mentoring and supporting other technicians. ⚙️ How You Will Do It • Diagnose & repair complex control system malfunctions (multiple programming languages & digital controls) • Conduct site assessments & consultations , providing technical recommendations & retrofit/upgrade proposals • Mentor and support controls & service technicians on building automation systems • Provide customer training and deliver documentation/manuals as required • Manage assigned projects to ensure timely, professional execution & customer satisfaction • Prepare quotes and promote add-on work opportunities • Collaborate with branch leadership, sales teams, and subcontractors • Maintain accurate project/service documentation (certificates, training forms, close-outs) • Support design & configuration of building control systems (diagrams, sequences of operations, layouts, schematics) • Assist in software programming, system commissioning & validation • Ensure compliance with safety standards while leading by example onsite Qualifications ✅ What We Look For Required: 🛠️ Minimum 4 years’ commercial controls troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry (including buildings, chiller plants, and systems) 🎓 Graduate of a vocational school program , associate degree in a technical field, or 2+ years’ experience in servicing electronic/mechanical systems ⚡ Demonstrated ability to install & service electronic control systems and HVAC equipment 💬 Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences 📝 Strong writing skills and ability to work with software applications 📚 Knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation, and building subsystems 🤝 Willingness to be a dedicated member of a branch team , focusing on troubleshooting, repair, and aftermarket services Additional Information What We Offer 💵 Competitive salary 🏖️ Paid vacation/holidays/sick time (10 vacation days in your first year!) 🏥 Comprehensive benefits package (401K, medical, dental, vision – available Day One!) 🤝 Collaborative & supportive team environment 🦺 Dedication to safety through our Zero Harm policy 🎥 Learn more about us: A Day in the Life   🌟 Why Join Us?
