About the role

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Lab Technician to join our team. QC Lab Technicians work in a variety of laboratory settings where they ensure quality and safety of products, raw materials, and manufacturing processes. Technicians are often responsible for performing tests, recording results, and reporting findings to relevant departments. Technicians play a vital role in ensuring that the products manufactured meet predefined quality parameters. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Responsible for conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality performance. 2. Collecting and preparing samples for testing (pH, moisture, protein, fat, ash, and viscosity).

  • Minimum 3 &ndash
  • 5 years experience in a quality control food manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
  • German language speaking skills is another advantage.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and ability to apply concepts such as: fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and good communication skills.
  • Limited Problem-Solving training a plus
