About the role
As a Medical Assistant 2, you will be responsible for both the clinical and administrative areas including assisting physicians with patient care and handling clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. You will provide information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinical service.
What you'll bring
- Active and unrestricted CMA or RMA.
- CPR/BLS Healthcare Provider Certification within 90 days of employment.
- 1 + years of experience working within a healthcare setting.
- Must maintain current license, certification, or registration.
- Must complete required CEUs for licensure/certification.
- Must maintain current BLS certification.
- EMR and Clinical competencies completed and signed as assigned.
- Precept students and new employees.
- Participate in annual clinical checkoffs for new and annual trainings.
- Help to revise and implement two clinical workflows or procedures.
- Must complete at least 4 educational sessions.
- Must complete 24 CEUs annually.
