About the role
ONC is seeking a Neurologist specializing in neuromuscular diseases (e.g., multiple sclerosis, etc.) and cognitive disorders (e.g., Alzheimer's disease, etc.) to join our neurology center of excellence in Edmond, Oklahoma. This position will supervise Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners in coordination with Administration. This position may be required to supervise a clinic infusion team periodically. Normal work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Fridays. Hours may vary based on daily patient schedule and the needs of the position, department, and clinic. Weekend and holiday on-call hours are expected from time to time. This position requires physician to attend monthly provider meetings and bimonthly staff meetings at 7:30 a.m.
What you'll bring
- Must be professionally licensed to practice neurology and be in good standing with all applicable federal/state/local licensing bodies.
- Must be board certified/board eligible in neurology.
- Caring and compassionate when dealing with patients.
- Thorough and up-to-date working knowledge of neurology and neurology treatment options.
- Must maintain current knowledge of industry best practices, trends, and applicable laws and regulations regarding scope of practice.
