About the role
WHAT’S THE JOB? The Janitor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of public and common areas at a world‑class Dexterra camp facility. This role is essential to ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all residents, staff, and visitors. As the site grows from approximately 500 occupants to more than 4,000, Janitors play a critical role in supporting high‑traffic areas and maintaining cleanliness standards throughout the facility. Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will work as part of a team dedicated to upholding Dexterra’s cleanliness and safety standards.
What you'll bring

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Willingness to follow all safety, sanitation, and infection‑control procedures
- Previous experience in janitorial, cleaning, or facilities maintenance preferred
- Experience in workforce accommodations, hotel, institutional, or commercial cleaning environments considered an asset
