About the role

As the  Senior Director of Software , you'll lead all software engineering, platform development, and software delivery across our product ecosystem. This role provides end-to-end accountability for software platform strategy, engineering execution, delivery effectiveness, architecture alignment, and organizational capability across Windows, mobile, content, and related software systems.

What you'll bring

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field is required.
• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience is required.
• 7+ years of experience leading software engineering organizations, engineering managers, or multi-team technical functions is required.
• At least 5 years of experience leading software delivery across multiple platforms, products, or domains is required.
• At least 5 years of experience with SDLC improvement, release management, architecture alignment, and cross-functional product engineering execution is required.
• Experience partnering closely
• Strong senior leadership capability with demonstrated success leading multiple software leaders and large technical organizations.
• Deep expertise in software engineering, platform development, SDLC execution, delivery management, and software quality.
• Strong understanding of architecture alignment, platform evolution, release discipline, engineering scalability, and organizational design.
• Ability to align software strategy, engineering execution, product priorities, and business goals into coherent, executable plans.
• Strong systems thinking, technical judgment, organizational problem-solving, and decision-making capability under complexity.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and influence skills across executive, technical, product, quality, and operational audiences.
