About the role
Children's Aid Society is Hiring: Full-time (40 hours -5 days) Childcare Associates to work days (2:45pm - 11:15 pm at our Lehman Crisis Nursery.
What you'll bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and empathetic in stressful situations
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience working with children or youth, particularly those in crisis, is preferred
- a degree or diploma in social services, child development, or related field is an asset
